After extensively researching and vetting breeders across the U.S. we chose to move forward with LK Bernedoodles because of their credibility and level of experience as breeders, and because of their love for the work they do. After a year with our pup Margot, we have zero doubt that we made the right decision (and we've even been discussing getting her an LK sibling in the near future!).
When the LK team says their focus is first and foremost on temperament, they're not kidding – in our experience, this is fully accurate. While we're off course a little biased, Margot is legitimately the best dog we've ever met and has been the greatest addition to our family. We continue to marvel at what an incredibly intelligent, happy, affectionate, and mellow dog she is. She's so loving and gets along well with every dog and human she meets (no matter their age or size). We would also highly recommend participating in the extended training program, even if just for four weeks.
Our trainer was wonderful and gave Margot additional exposure to being around other puppies, dogs, and young children, and set her up with a solid foundation of skills for us to build on. When we took over training at home, Margot took to things quickly and has remained very well mannered and obedient through subsequent training. All to say, it's worth the investment for both you and your dog!
After doing extensive research on where to get a bernedoodle puppy we went with LKBernedoodles due to the fact that we were able to speak with the owner to understand expectations of care and we liked the social media presence on updates of each litter. We were so happy to welcome Maude (Augusta) into our home in March of this year. We couldn’t be more happy with the our loving girl who has the friendliest demeanor with dogs and humans. Our walks throughout the day take forever as so many people stop us to comment on Maude and how adorable she is
Truly an awesome experience from the very first phone call to the drop off. I had wanted a Bernedoodle for quite some time. I did lots of research and LKBernedoodles is hands down the best out there. Talking to Kate and other members of her organization is like talking to a friend or family. Down to earth, patient and very informative. Always keeping you updated and in the loop with litters etc. I have an almost 9 month Phantom Merle and he is the sweetest, best tempered, smart and handsome (I’m a little biased) best addition to our family.
We love LK Bernedoodles! Great to work with and love how updated they keep you on their social media. Waiting for your pup can be hard, but it was so much easier following along and getting to see her on Instagram almost everyday. Our almost 1 year old standard bernedoodle Lois is so wonderful, friendly, adventurous, and mellow. We couldn't imagine life without her now.
We adopted our Bernese from LK Bernedoodles and we could not be more in love with him! It’s apparent that LK takes great pride in caring for their dogs and breeding puppies with amazing temperaments. We loved getting updates on Instagram of our puppy through the breeding process and while he was in their training program - which we cannot recommend enough! We went through the 4 week puppy kindergarten training program, and it made for a seamless adjustment bringing our puppy home that he was already kennel and potty trained and knew basic commands. Our berner is kind, sweet, smart and we would absolutely adopt through LK in the future!

We have only had our LK Bernedoodles puppy for 4 months, but are so in love with him and so impressed with his gentleness with our older and disabled pups and cat. He is so sweet, calm and smart. I’ve never trained a dog who is so eager to please and learn so quickly. My only regret is that we couldn’t bring home one of his siblings as well. My kids are in their 20’s but always refer to him as their puppy brother…he’s that much a part of our family. Thank you so much for helping us find our new family member!!
We love our LK Bernedoodles pup Elton John so much, he has the best temperament and is the cuddliest guy ever. He has been a fantastic addition to our family, bringing the kids so much joy and even rejuvenating our older small dog who now at 15 seems so have a new lease of life. LK guided us through the whole process from a distance and we couldn’t have had a better experience.
We got a Mini Bernadoodle from LK Bernadoodles. Izzy has been with us for a month and we are completely head over heels for her. She is fiesty, smart and has the sweetest personality all wrapped into one gorgeous puppy. The LK team was amazing through the entire process from when we first reached out to be put on a waitlist until the day a flight nanny delivered our Izzy home to us in Seattle. We were so pleased with the entire experience and so in love with our new little girl. Thank you LK team!

I’m a lucky owner of a LKbernedoodle star, his name is Bruno and I cannot even express how in love I am with him. I have a nearly 14yr old Lab at home, he is struggling lately and I know won’t be with us for too much longer. 😢 Thinking a friend for Bruno might be in our future.

LK Bernedoodles has gifted us with such an amazing new family member! I've never met a puppy with respect and such a calm demeanor. Not only is he the cutest dog I've ever seen, but his personality fits into our family perfectly. We are so in love with him, and couldn't be more appreciative.
